Dove House are once again getting ready for their annual campaign of Make A Will Fortnight asking people to leave a gift in their will for the Hospice. We are one of several professional practices across the region to be backing the campaign.
Dove House Hospice is a charity providing excellent care and support to adults in Hull and East Yorkshire with progressive life-limiting illnesses and it is a pleasure for us at Dutton Moore to be supporting this campaign.
This year’s appeal (running from the 12th October to 23rd October) has been the biggest yet.
Speaking about Dutton Moore’s participation, Dove House Hospice Regional Fundraiser Jethro Shearring said: “We are delighted to have Dutton Moore on board since 2019. The chartered accountants have kindly been taking appointments at their Hull City Centre offices, on Market Place.
“It has been wonderful to see our Make a Will Appeal grow this year, with the addition of some new partner organisations. Dutton Moore were quick to offer their support in signing up. It was a pleasure to be in touch with Colin Hamilton and Anita Porter ahead of the appeal. Their passion to make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families was clear to see. We are delighted to have them on board and are incredibly grateful for their thoughtfulness and support.”
Colin Hamilton, Tax Partner at Dutton Moore, added: "We are delighted to support this campaign with Dove House Hospice in 2020. Wills are such an important document to have and you need to have professional advice to ensure all your wishes are correctly met. We are experts in preparing wills for our clients and we are delighted to assist those who want to benefit Dove House in the process."
So far the appeal has raised more than £50,000 in recent years.
